FBW Francis, a 9-year old Baden Wurttemberger gelding by Franziskus, has moved to Korea to continue his sport career. Bred by Manfred Bauer, Francis was first competed as a 3-year old in 2019 by Björn Steigauf before coming into training with Carina Harnisch in 2021. By July 2023, he was competing at S-level tests.

At the 2023 Bundeschampionate, Francis finished 13th in the 7-year old finals with a score of 74.136%. Carina further established the horse at small tour level in 2024, winning the regional iWest Cup in Stuttgart in November. The horse has now been sold to Korea through sales agent Saskia Evertz of Aischbachhof, where he has been acquired by Junseo Oh, a student of Kim Hyeok, a successful Korean dressage rider.

Junseo Oh, who has been showing other horses such as Bellamy and Flortrak, is based at Changwhan Bae’s Balios equestrian center in Korea. With the acquisition of FBW Francis, Oh looks to continue his success in the dressage arena with this talented gelding.
