Extreme Racing for Charity Event at Remington Park: Camels, Ostriches, Zebras, and Clydesdales Take the Track to Raise Funds for Oklahoma Nonprofits

Remington Park will host the Extreme Racing for Charity event on April 13, featuring races with camels, ostriches, zebras, and Clydesdales to raise funds for Oklahoma nonprofits. The event is free and open to all ages, with exotic animals paired with nonprofit organizations to raise money for their missions. The event is one of the top charitable fundraisers of the year at Remington Park and benefits the Remington Park Charities program.

The Remington Park Charities program supports local nonprofit organizations through fundraising events like Extreme Racing, which raised over $97,000 in 2024. In 2025, the program welcomed two new nonprofits, Nexus Animals and Oklahoma City Ballet, to its roster. The program aims to create lasting partnerships within the community and promote collaborative growth and mutual success.

The Extreme Racing for Charity event will feature live horse racing along with extreme animal races, including Clydesdales, zebras, ostriches, and camels. Attendees can see the animals up close, take pictures, and enjoy food trucks at the event. The event is free to attend, open to all ages, and parking is also free at Remington Park.
