The Canadian Thoroughbred Horse Society (Ontario) has announced that the 2025 Canadian Premier Yearling Sale will take place on August 27, 2025, at the Woodbine Sales Pavilion. The sale is a highly anticipated event in the Canadian Thoroughbred industry, attracting buyers from across Canada and beyond who are looking to acquire top-quality yearlings bred for success on the track.
Last year’s sale demonstrated the strength of the Canadian breeding program, with competitive bidding and strong sales figures showcasing the demand for Canadian-bred talent. The 2025 edition of the sale promises to continue this tradition, offering buyers the opportunity to acquire future champions and allowing breeders to showcase their finest yearlings.
Leading up to Sale Day, there will be a lineup of events including Sales Stakes Races on August 24, yearling inspections on August 25 and 26, and a Kick-off Party on August 26. The CTHS is dedicated to supporting and promoting the Canadian Thoroughbred industry and looks forward to welcoming participants to the sale.
