Easter Events Kick Off with SEC Equestrian Championships Win

Jordyn Humbert, a 2023 Clyde High School graduate, is now attending the University of South Carolina and competing on their Division 1 Equestrian Team. She recently helped the team win the SEC Equestrian Championships and will now compete in the National Championships in Ocala, Florida later this month. Jordyn has been riding horses since she was eight and has shown horses at various levels, including the Congress and World level shows.

Majestic Care of Clyde is hosting an open house on April 22, offering a warm and welcoming environment with a full range of care services. The facility specializes in both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care, and has implemented new staffing incentives, equipment, and a social media presence. They will also be hosting a biker-car show on June 5 to engage with the community.

The Friends of the Clyde Public Library are hosting a book sale from April 10 to April 12, with a $5 bag sale on the final day. Additionally, Easter egg hunts are scheduled in the area, including events at the Church of God, Community Park, and Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. The Green Springs Fire Department will also host a spring breakfast on April 13 to support the Stemtown Historical Society.
