The Dubai International Arabian Horse Championship (DIAHC) 2025 showcased standout stars Al Fahad MAS, D Borkan, and FAM Vortex, captivating judges and spectators with their beauty and grace. Held at the Dubai World Trade Centre, this prestigious competition brings together the finest purebred Arabian horses from around the world, with a $4 million prize pool attracting top-tier competitors.
This year’s championship featured 124 exceptional horses from eight nations competing across six championship classes. The participation of four former World Champions heightened the level of competition, making this edition one of the most competitive and exciting in recent history. Chairman Ziad Galadari highlighted the significance of the event coinciding with the holy month of Ramadan, creating a special occasion for competitors and spectators.
Established in 2003 under the patronage of the late Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the DIAHC has grown into one of the most prestigious Arabian horse shows globally. The championship serves as a tribute to the centuries-old legacy of Arabian horse breeding, showcasing the dedication of breeders, trainers, and enthusiasts who uphold the esteemed lineage. Institutions like the Dubai Arabian Horse Stud and Ajman Stud, along with Qatar’s Al Shaqab, continue to set new benchmarks for excellence in Arabian horse breeding, reinforcing the breed’s status as a symbol of strength, beauty, and nobility.
