Dennis Manning’s lifelong passion for horse racing began in childhood, growing up next to the Weymouth Fairgrounds in Massachusetts where his family was deeply involved in the industry. He started as an exercise rider and eventually obtained his trainer’s license, leading to his first victory at the Marshfield Fair.

Manning’s career took off after purchasing his first racehorse, leading to success in various racing circuits and eventually settling in Ocala, Florida. Despite health challenges and the loss of a major client, he found purpose in helping operate the Oak Ridge Training Center and was elected president of the board of directors.

Manning’s success in the racing industry is notable for achieving greatness with modestly priced horses, such as Valid Video and Grand Hombre. He takes joy in nurturing young talent and developing horses to their full potential, a passion that has shaped his career and brought him success.
