Four men known as the “cutthroat cowboys” were charged after a viral video showed them riding horses through a Louisiana Walmart. The video captured the men trotting past cashiers and down aisles as shocked shoppers and employees watched on. Police were searching for the group after the incident.

The men were identified as Mason Webb, Brendon Bridgwater, Patrick Derozan, and a juvenile offender. Webb stated that they had no real reason for entering the store on horseback other than it being “fun” and a way to gain fame. They were each charged with entering and remaining after forbidden, unlawful post of criminal activity, and disturbing the peace.

Footage shared on TikTok showed the men riding horses in the store with the song “Save a Horse (Ride a Cowboy)” playing in the background. Two of the riders turned themselves in to police after warrants were issued, while the other two surrendered to authorities. Despite the chaos caused by their actions, Webb claimed they didn’t intend to hurt anyone and simply wanted to have fun.
