Charles Town has released its 2025 stakes schedule, including the Grade 2 $1 million Charles Town Classic and $750,000 Charles Town Oaks on the same card on August 22. Skippylongstocking won the Classic in 2024 and remains in training to potentially become the first three-time winner of the race.

The Charles Town Oaks will be run as a Grade 2 for the second time this year, with Mystic Lake winning the race in 2024. The stakes schedule also includes the $500,000 Robert Hilton Memorial and $250,000 Misty Bennett Pink Ribbon Stakes, with the program producing some of the largest single-card handles in track history.

The 2025 stakes schedule features 20 races worth over $3.6 million in total purses, with the addition of an early Pick 5 wager to the daily wagering menu. The new wager will cover the first five races of the card nightly, starting on March 6 when Charles Town returns to its Thursday through Saturday racing schedule.
