Nominations are now open for the 2025 Irish Thoroughbred Industry Employee Awards, which recognize and reward the skills and dedication of those in the Thoroughbred breeding and racing industry. Anyone can nominate a friend or colleague for an award, with nominations open until February 25th on the ITIEA website. Winners will receive €62,000 in prize money across 10 award categories, with the ceremony taking place on June 3rd at the Keadeen Hotel in County Kildare.
The awards include a Newcomer Award and seven Thoroughbred Industry Employee Awards, with all winners eligible for the Irish Racing Excellence Award. The Racecourse Award winner, chosen by the Irish stable Staff Association, will also be announced at the ceremony. HRI chief executive Suzanne Eade encourages everyone to nominate their colleagues and friends to highlight the exceptional people in the industry and their contribution to Ireland’s reputation for thoroughbred production and care.
