Brittany Fraser-Beaulieu and Jaccardo Win Lövsta Future Challenge: Horse Sport.com Article

Canadian Olympian Brittany Fraser-Beaulieu won the Lövsta Future Challenge developing grand prix horse final with a score of 72.5% on Jill Irving’s 11-year-old Jaccardo. The class is open to horses aged eight to 11 and aims to provide a championship-type environment for up-and-coming international quality horses without the pressures of a CDI. The final took place at Wellington International’s Adequan Global dressage Festival and featured a $10,000 prize pot.

Marcus Orlob finished as reserve champion on the stallion JJ Glory Day with a score of 70.842%, while Kelly Layne took third place with Living Diamond. Fraser-Beaulieu expressed gratitude for the opportunity to participate in the Lövsta Future Challenge and credited her coach Ashley Holzer for preparing Jaccardo for the final. The class aims to help young horses transition to the grand prix level in a positive way.

In the Lövsta Stuteri CDI4* Grand Prix Freestyle, U.S. Olympian Kasey Perry-Glass won with a score of 75.915% on Heartbeat W.P. Ashley Holzer placed second with Hawtins San Floriana, setting a new combination high score, while Camille Carier Bergeron finished third with Finnländerin. The event featured a patriotic twist in the music choices of the riders, with Holzer expressing her gratitude for being embraced by America as a new citizen.
