British Eventing has launched an U25 Programme, led by Tina Cook, for riders aged 21-25 who have achieved qualification for CCI3S and above. The programme aims to support youth athletes aiming to compete in their first four-star event or the National U25 Championships at Bramham International Horse Trials. There are also limited spots available for riders over 25 who are qualified for CCI3S or above, with the programme being self-funded and offering discounted training access.
The U25 Programme offers training sessions, workshops, online sessions, course walks, personalized roadmaps, and continuous support from British Eventing’s coaching team. Tina Cook expressed excitement about guiding young riders through the levels and helping them reach their potential. The initiative aims to support young riders in their pursuit of success at the highest levels of eventing, with a focus on preparing them for their first four-star event or the National U25 Championships at Bramham International.
Interested riders can secure a place in the British Eventing U25 Programme by emailing [email protected] with their full name, age, and a brief summary of their eventing experience and achievements. The programme aims to link the youth programme to the overall elite programmes, with Tina Cook bringing practical experience to help riders make the transition to higher levels of competition. CEO Rosie Williams highlighted the importance of the programme in developing talent within the sport.
