Bob Baffert’s Tenma Headed to Churchill Downs for Kentucky Oaks

Hall of Fame trainer Bob Baffert is preparing for the Kentucky Oaks with his top 3-year-old filly, Tenma. Tenma secured her spot in the Oaks by winning the Santa Anita Oaks and picking up 75 qualifying points.

Tenma, a daughter of Nyquist, won the Santa Anita Oaks by catching her stablemate Silent Law and finishing 2 1/4 lengths ahead. Baffert expressed his satisfaction with Tenma’s progress and performance.

In a separate race, Queen Maxima won the Monrovia Stakes by 4 1/4 lengths. Queen Maxima is a daughter of Bucchero and was purchased for $40,000.
