Arson Suspect Sought in Southwest Philadelphia Stable Fire that Killed Two Horses

Police are seeking the public’s help in locating an arson suspect responsible for a stable fire in Southwest Philadelphia that killed two horses and injured another. Surveillance footage shows a man entering the property before flames erupted from the building.
The suspect is described as a white man with a thin build, last seen wearing dark-colored pants, a gray long-sleeve shirt or sweatshirt, and a black hat. Authorities are urging the public not to approach the suspect and to call 911 if he is spotted.
Following the fire, the Pennsylvania SPCA’s Animal Law Enforcement team rescued 12 horses, a pig, and a goat from the property due to concerns for their welfare. The investigation into the arson incident is ongoing.
