Equestrian star Anush Agarwalla, who made history by becoming the first Indian to compete in the individual dressage event at the Paris Olympics, is among the nominees.
Anush Agarwalla, born on November 23, 1999 in Kolkata, represented India in equestrian at the Paris Olympics in 2024. Riding Sir Caramello Old, he participated in the Grand Prix qualifiers on July 30, 2024, scoring 66.444 and finishing ninth in his group. While he did not advance to the next round or win a medal, Agarwalla’s participation was a significant milestone for Indian equestrian sports, showcasing the country’s growing presence in the discipline.
