Antrim Chase is a charity organisation that offers rides without hunting animals, making it suitable for riders of all ages and experience levels. The rides take place in various locations, with the New Year’s Day ride being a particularly popular event. The riders are respectful of the landowners and the jumps are carefully set up and removed after the ride.
The New Year’s Day ride in Bellaghy featured 58 riders of all ages, dressed in full hunt attire. The ride included various jumps, including the challenging ‘Big Bellaghy Hedge’. The event raised £1,620 for Marie Curie, a charity that supports those affected by cancer in Northern Ireland.
Antrim Chase runs weekly rides adhering to the BHS Code of Conduct, with all dates and venues listed on their Facebook page. Riders are encouraged to contact a member of Antrim Chase before attending any events to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
