Annabella Pidgley secured her first senior victory in two years on Vamos Amigos at the Danish Warmblood Stallion Show CDI3* Grand Prix Special, earning a score of 70.660%. The 20-year-old British rider competed on the 13-year-old Westfalen gelding, while Greta Heemsoth of Germany came in second on Anthrazit with a score of 69.617%. Denmark’s Nanna Skodborg Merrald and Blue Hors Znickers placed third with a score of 69.362%.
Annabella began competing with Vamos Amigos at CDIs in early 2023, following the success of Danish superstar Cathrine Laudrup-Dufour. Annabella had previously achieved success in the Under-25 division and was part of Britain’s bronze medal team at the World Equestrian Festival in Aachen, Germany in 2023. The victory at the Danish Warmblood Stallion Show marks a significant milestone in Annabella’s career.
The results of the CDI3* Grand Prix Special saw Annabella Pidgley take the top spot with Vamos Amigos, followed by Greta Heemsoth on Anthrazit in second place and Nanna Skodborg Merrald on Blue Hors Znickers in third place. The competition showcased the talent and skill of these riders and their horses in the dressage discipline.
