Anna Schölermann Wins 2025 Piaff Forderpreis Selection Trial in Warendorf

Anna Schölermann won the 2025 Piaff Forderpreis selection trial in Warendorf, earning the highest score of the day with her horse Springborgs Guardian. The top three also included Selina Söder and Franziska Haase, with the top 12 combinations qualifying directly for the finals. The competition was judged by Evi Eisenhardt, Katrina Wüst, and Elke Ebert.

The top 16 combinations are now invited to compete on the 2025 Piaff Forderpreis show circuit, which consists of four qualifiers and a finals in Donaueschingen in September. The pairs had to go to Warendorf for the official selection event, where they were coached by team trainer Hans-Heinrich Meyer zu Strohen and rode the Short Grand Prix as a qualifier. The competition class included both U25 squad listed riders and those who qualified through the selection event.

Other notable performances in the competition included Ann-Cathrin Rieg finishing fourth with a pony, and Henriette Schmidt placing fifth. The top five riders posted scores ranging from 67.984% to 70.504%. The invited riders for the show circuit include well-known names such as Moritz Treffinger, Helen Erbe, and Felicitas Hendricks, among others.
