American Grand Prix Rider Beatrice Marienau Pauses Career Due to Health Issues

American Grand Prix rider Beatrice Marienau has been forced to pause her sport career due to serious health issues, leading her to focus on her recovery. Her horses are now in the capable hands of her cousin, Laura Tomlinson, who has taken over the ride on four of Beatrice’s horses.

Beatrice Marienau’s equestrian journey began in Germany and led her to the U.S., where she developed a love for dressage under the guidance of trainers such as Lilo Fore. She made her international Grand Prix debut in 2011 and continued to compete at a high level with horses like Stefano and Issey, collaborating closely with trainer Leida Collins-Strijk.

After experiencing health issues and undergoing heart surgery, Beatrice has decided to step back from her horse career to focus on her health and recovery. Laura Tomlinson has taken over the ride on Beatrice’s horses, ensuring they are in a safe place with great training and care while Beatrice navigates this new chapter in her life.
