2025 USEF Dressage Training Series – West Coast Athletes Announced

The 2025 USEF dressage Training Series – West Coast will take place at the HITS Del Mar Horse Park in Del Mar, Calif., from February 20-23, 2025. The clinic aims to identify and develop the next generation of top U.S. dressage team athletes through mounted and unmounted sessions with top professionals covering topics related to riding, competing, and horse care. Due to increased interest, the number of invited athletes has been increased to 15, 10 more than in 2024.

Athletes were selected based on their results at high-level competitions or through the application process, including individual and freestyle gold medalists of the FEI North American Youth Championships, gold and silver medalists from the USEF dressage Seat Medal Finals, and top performers in various national championships. The instructors for the mounted sessions at the 2025 clinic include George Williams, Guenter Seidel, and Sabine Schut-Kery. U21 athletes invited to participate include Taylor Allen, Sage Chacon, Emme Chisholm, Mia Folk, Finn Kriess, Samantha MacDonald, Olivia Martz, Ryder Mosqueda, Trinity Schatzel, and Emma Schneider, while U25 athletes include Ellanor Boehning, Hannah Johnson, Jessica Nordqvist, Haley Smith, and Miki Yang.

The selection process for the 2025 USEF dressage Training Series – West Coast was overseen by George Williams, US Equestrian dressage Youth Coach and High Performance & Pathway Development Advisor. The clinic aims to provide a platform for talented combinations to further develop their skills and potentially represent the U.S. in international competitions. The increased number of invited athletes reflects the high level of talent and interest in the training series.
