The 2025 Global dressage Festival will feature a Masterclass with German Olympic gold medalist Frederic Wandres on March 12, presented by Hof Kasselmann. The event will take place in the International Stadium at Equestrian Village, with five horse and rider combinations accepted to participate. Applications and video submissions must be completed by January 31.
Frederic Wandres, born in Kehl, Germany, has had a successful career in dressage, winning a gold medal at the World Championships for Young dressage Horses in 2019 and a bronze team medal at the 2022 FEI World Championships. He also won team gold for Germany at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris and finished 13th individually. Wandres started as a student rider at Hof Kasselmann in 2007 before becoming their stable rider and achieving success at the top level of the sport.
Auditor information and spectator experience opportunities for the Masterclass will be released in early February. Wandres has competed at the Adequan® Global dressage Festival, earning several CDI victories, including back-to-back CDI5* Grand Prix wins with his Olympic mount Bluetooth OLD. The Masterclass promises to be an exciting and educational event for dressage enthusiasts.
