2025 Brosda Olympic Bursary Awarded to Hannah Beaulieu: A Rising Star in Dressage

The 2025 Brosda Olympic Bursary has been awarded to Hannah Beaulieu, a talented dressage rider originally from British Columbia now living and training in Germany. She is currently working as an assistant to Olympic Champion Jessica and Benjamin von Bredow-Werndl, focusing on personal development and advancing her nine-year-old mare Siri towards Grand Prix. Hannah has a strong passion for dressage and values the connections she has built within the equestrian community.

Hannah has received training not only from Jessica and Benjamin, but also from other experienced trainers. She has a successful competition history, including placing in Prix St. George and Intermediate I classes. With the Brosda Bursary funds, Hannah plans to continue competing and further developing Siri for CDI competitions with the goal of representing Canada at the highest levels. The Bursary is offered in memory of Élisabeth Brosda, a talented equestrian who tragically passed away in 2016.

The Brosda Olympic Bursary aims to support aspiring athletes in reaching their full potential and representing Canada at Olympic Games. It provides financial support for international competition, sport science, training, equipment, and sport education. Donations to the Élisabeth Brosda Memorial Fund, which supports the Bursary, can be made online or by cheque to the Canadian Olympic Foundation. The Bursary serves as a lasting legacy in memory of Élisabeth Brosda, helping athletes like Hannah pursue their Olympic dreams.
