1/ST and Goodwood Racecourse have announced a reciprocal partnership that will allow horses to gain automatic entry to races at each other’s racecourses following success at the Pegasus World Cup meeting at Gulfstream Park and the Goodwood Festival. Winners of the Pegasus World Cup Turf and Pegasus World Cup Filly and Mare Turf in 2025 will gain automatic entry to the Sussex Stakes and Nassau Stakes in 2025, respectively.
Incentives for winning horses include monetary rewards, free entry into reciprocal races, and accommodation and hospitality at the Goodwood Festival. The winners of the Sussex Stakes and Nassau Stakes will also gain automatic entry to the Pegasus World Cup Turf and Pegasus World Cup Filly and Mare Turf in 2026, respectively.
